Stacking nicely. I’ve decided to not use the supplemental deep red 660-665nm and uva bars this run because everything’s so close to the fixture, i can’t raise it anymore and the supplemental wouldn’t get an even spread being so close. Too bad because the deep red really adds a lot of photosynthetic energy while allowing the main light to be run at a lower % helping with heat. Oh well, it’ll be a nice experiment to use this light without the deep red 660-665nm for science lol.

Everything’s stacking nicely and nothings showing any bleaching or taco’ing or any other light stress symptoms, but keeping eyes peeled.

I don’t think I’ve had a trunk that thick…. ever?!? That’s from the lbc q2…. the other lbc also has a thick trunk, but not as big as the one pictured. I doubt my shears will make it through that!

Airflow, temperature and rh has been greatly improved since the cleanup. Currently getting a total of 10 shots/day, still tweaking the duration as useage ramps up. Feed recipe change in a few days as well, reduce N & up the PK…EC around 1.5ish right now. Also getting recharge and floralicious Plus every Sunday, but with the high frequency fertigation, not sure if it helps as much as it does for the SIP bases in the auto Tent where there’s no runoff

Getting there….56 days on the perms and day 47 for grape gas…. was checking trichomes on the perms, the back one is definitely ahead developmentally. It’s wild how you can absolutely see a difference in the flower size from day to day. The 2 perms are starting to reduce their water consumption while the grape gas is ramping up. Feed has been between 1.3-1.5 EC throughout their life, really only the ratios have changed (using flora series from GH & calmag plus top watering Recharge and Floralicious Plus every Sunday, which also serves to keep the moisture gradient & prevents the top from drying out too much)

The grape gas is finishing its stretch up and starting to stack sites. Like I said in the first post, this is my first run with modern auto flowers (diesel-ryder back in 2009), but they have _quirky_ traits/tendencies. The grape gas did a great job filling out its half of the tent without any training. I kept the growth off the perms budsites, but aside from that it’s just been keeping the reservoir full. It’s behind 9 days on the calendar from the 2 perms, but also behind more than that developmentally. It was topped on it’s 19th day and didn’t show preflowers until it’s 32nd day….. now nearly the entire canopy is at the same height and pretty even with the highest points on the perms.

Here’s the 3 week cleanup…. definitely got more stretch than I was expecting and ran out of horizontal room to do a proper scrog with 4 plants. Strangely, I took a lot less than I thought I would. The internode spacing didn’t start to tighten up until around the 2nd trellis

Grape gas is definitely catching up.

It’s 9 days behind the 2 perms and was topped on its day 19. Still in stretch, but towards the tail end of it

So you saw day 1 of flower in the first post…. the next photos are from day 7 & then day 14….I do use end of day near infrared to aid in the Pfr to Pr conversion…it’s very cultivar dependant, but these 2 strains are done stretching. They still stretch the same amount, it just happens a lot faster so it seems exaggerated. I only use 7 minutes of the NIR, most companies recommend 15 minutes, but I think that’s enough time where it does not influence the stretch to the point that it’s stretching excessively because of the NIR EOD light.

I think it’ll happen. I’m partial to discord myself, but I like the fact that all the info here could never be deleted except by us…. that was a HUGE loss with the old server getting nuked. Habits are hard to change though
